<p>The problem is that lots of people don’t understand that good relationships don’t just happen out of thin air and they need to be worked at and it takes a great deal of effort for partners to be blissfully happy and content for ten years or more.</p>

<h2>Don’t blame each other.</h2>
<p>One of the main problems when relationships go south is that the people in a <i>relationship</i> tend to blame the other person, or even worse, blame themselves.</p>

<h2>Work on your love life.</h2>
<p>One of the major causes of relationship problems is due to the “sex factor”.</p>
<p>It’s an interesting fact that many married and/or long term couples don’t have great sex lives.</p>

<p>Some products on the market include a supplement containing lacto-lycopene, vitamin C, and soy isoflavones.</p>
<p>This is aimed at restoring firmness to the skin for women over 40, and was developed by Nestle and L&#8217;Oreal.</p>
<p>Others have been developed using lycopene and grape seed extract, both antioxidants. Grape seed extract also stops enzymatic reactions that lead to collagen in the skin being broken down.</p>
<p>Antioxidants protect the capillaries in skin and thus ensure that enough nutrients get to the living cells that eventually push their way to the surface and become the skin you see in the mirror.</p>
<p>They also protect from broken veins and early wrinkling whilst the capillaries also deliver oxygen to the cells, and remove the waste products of cellular metabolism.</p>

<p>Sunlight also destroys beta carotene in cells after sun exposure, so this beta carotene has to be replaced.</p>
<p>Beta carotene has been reported as having a mild sunscreen effect too, though it needs to be taken as a supplement to get this effect.</p>
<p>The skin care supplement beauty market is still not a strongly developed one however, as these types of supplements tend to be more expensive than other supplements. And there needs to be more research and clinical trials to prove which products do what they are designed to.</p>

<p>My speciality is Make up and <a href="http://online-beauty-resources.com/skin-care/lancome-skin-care-serum-review/">skin care</a>, NOT <b>fitness</b> &amp; nutrition, however, I have spent years working myself from a size 18 down to a size 10 simply down to<br />

<p>So the idea here is to give you a bit of a lowdown from a normal human beings perspective who likes the odd glass of wine or 5 and<br />
could quite happily trough my way through a whole packet of jaffa cakes without it touching the sides!</p>
<p>I&#8217;m going to tell you how I manage to live a fulfilled and fun lifestyle whilst keeping my <u>fitness</u> &amp; nutrition in top form.</p>
<h2>Fitness &amp; Exercise</h2>
<p>First thing I will say, the gym is NOT a necessity by any means, and I appreciate a lot of people find it a complete bore quite frankly.</p>
<p>I find nothing more satisfying than a good gym workout and by using all the different machines you can really concentrate on the areas you want to target, however, for beginners, a brisk 40 minute power walk 3 times a week can have just as much impact on the body.</p>
<p>If you do decide to join your local gym make sure you have a member of staff help to create the right programme for you.</p>

<p>Everyone has a different fitness level so get a plan specifically for you.</p>
<p>All decent gyms should offer an appointment to make a programme for you within your joining pack, so don&#8217;t be afraid to go for it if you want.</p>
<p>I remember the first time I set foot in a gym, it really was terrifying, but within a few minutes the staff made me feel totally at ease and I realised that no matter how much I think someone appears in better shape then me, we are all in there to do the same thing, improve our fitness and build confidence in our bodies.</p>
<p>Perhaps, after a few weeks, invest in a few personal trainer sessions.</p>
<p>They are qualified to help with fitness and nutrition and are amazing for motivation and spurring you on to run for that extra 30 seconds.</p>
<p>If you dont want to pay for a trainer, here are a few tips from me:-</p>
<ul>
<li>Stick to about 40 minutes of cardiovascular exercise on either the bike, cross trainer or treadmill, then about 15 minutes of core work and light weights, low weights with high repetitions to start. This will still help to burn fats, and contrary to what you may think, women will not build too much muscle and look like a russian shot putter from lifting a few 7kg weights a few times a week. These massive muscle women spend their whole life building muscle, not through an hour workout 3 or 4 times a week.</li>
<li>If you get the bus to work get off a stop earlier to give you a little extra walk. I park my car a 15 minute walk away from work, it means that 5 times a week i do 30 minutes walking a day, and that&#8217;s before I&#8217;ve been to the gym or been out for a run.</li>
<li>Road running is great for toning as the uneven surfaces really work every muscle in the body, but it is more difficult then running on the treatmill so perservere with road running.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Nutrition</h2>
<p>Fitness &amp; nutrition go hand in hand, pointless doing all that hard work then going home to eat the wrong food.</p>
<p>I find that the easiest thing to do it make sure I eat the right food at the right times.</p>
<p>Do not skip breakfast, its the best start to the day. A bowl of bran flakes or piece of toast would be enough and keep away from the fry up. My favourite breakfast ever is branflakes topped with a chopped banana for added sweetness.</p>
<p>I tend to eat the majority of my carbohydrates in the morning or before a long run to give me the energy, but they are equally as important post exercise to help the body recover.</p>
<p>Leave the faddy diets to someone else.</p>

<li>Atkins gives you smelly breath and constipation.</li>
<li>The zone diet is far too confusing.</li>
<li>The g.i diet I have no idea on.</li>
<li>The starvation diet just isn&#8217;t sensisble.</li>
</ul>
<p>Its all about everything in moderation, if you stop eating anything with even a little fat in it your body will just go into shock the minute it touches your lips again.</p>
<p>Nuts are great for this, they have essential fatty acids and are great for the skin, but if you fancy that little bag of crisps or bar of choccy then go for it, everything in moderation and if you dont you will crave, binge then feel awful after.</p>
<p>Plenty of fresh fruit, veg, and meat with the right carbs at the right time and your sorted.</p>
<p>A little tip I have learned here, don&#8217;t bother with finding someone to buddy up with because you both want to ditch those last few lbs before your flight<br />
departs from pastures sunnier.</p>
<p>There&#8217;s a pretty high risk one of you will give up before the other, so do it for YOURSELF! Decide to make the change with your<br />
fitness &amp; nutrition purely on your own terms, so get on those trainers, a few good tunes on the ipod and get your fitness &amp; nutrition in tip top condition.</p>

<p>Obviously there are certain rules to <i>eye make up</i> choices, however to a certain extent anything goes as long as your comfortable doing it.<br />
Yes Lilac shades bring out green eyes, smokey effect look particularly striking with blue eyes, and Hazel or brown eyes look ace with forest greens and khaki <u>eye make up</u>, but you can change all these combinations and still have great eye make up!</p>
<h2>Daily eye make up</h2>
<p>Keep it simple for every day eye make up, stick to 2 different shades of shadow, 1 light and 1 darker.</p>
<p>Take the lighter shade and cover the whole eye lid with it. Then take the darker shade along the lash line for the outer half of the eye and into the socket. take a clean blending brush and blend.<br />
To complete this everyday eye make up look use a soft khol pencil in a more natural shade (preferable not black) and line the lash line in soft sweeping motions, take it a little along the bottom of the eye just a fraction under the lash line if you want, but not too harsh a line to keep the eye make up looking natural.</p>
<p>Use a curling mascara for this look to keep the eye make up looking fresh and natural. Match this with any lipstick you feel comfortable with.</p>
<h3>Smokey eye make up</h3>
<p>This eye make up look can be acheived so easily, but its the one most women are afraid of.</p>
<p>The idea is similar to that of a daily eye make up look, the concept is the same, keep it nice and light in the inner eye and near the tear duct, and keep the darkness on the outer half of the eye. This opens and and brightens even small eyes and stops the &#8220;punched in the face&#8221; look. 3 shades are sufficient for this look, a light, mid/dark and an intense shade.<br />
Take the light shade all over the eye, even up to the brow.</p>
<p>Take your darkest shade and create that v shape along the lash line and into the socket (it doesn&#8217;t matter if its not looking great right now) but keeping that tear duct area nice and bright still.</p>
<p>I find cotton buds great for smokey eye make up application as the tighness of the bud really allows to get the intensity of the shadow onto the eyelid.</p>
<p>Take that mid shade and fill in the inside of that v you have just created and you want to achieve a perfectly blended eye make up that goes from one extreme to the other gradually over the whole eye lid.</p>

<p>Load on the eye liner, Khol or liquid and plenty of Volumising mascara to top it off. When you line your bottom lashes try taking some of the darkest shaddow over the top of the liner to give an even more dramatic eye make up look.</p>
<p>Match this with a soft and neutral toned lipstick or gloss, nothing too daring as you want to keep the focus purely on your eye make up.</p>
<h3>Classic eye make up</h3>
<p>My personal favourite here! The classic eye make up look is so simple! take a bit of concealer to even out the tone on the eye lid but not to colour. Then take a liquid liner,sweep it along the lash line in one smooth stroke and thats about it! A little flick on the outer edge gives a great look, but keep the flick pointing upwards, any eye make up that goes in a downwards direction will add 10 years onto any eye area so keep it pointing up!</p>

<h3>Eye make up tips</h3>
<p>Layer loose powder under the eye when going for smokey eye make up, this makes it easy to sweep away any dark eyeshadow that drops and stops it sticking to the<br />
cheeks.</p>
<p>Eye make up brushes are a MUST. you need a large flat brush to apply the base colour, a small flat brush to place dark shadows onto the eyes, and a fluffy<br />
brush to blend it all together nicely.</p>
<p>Cotton buds are a great and hygienic way to apply eye make up, just roll the bud between your fingers to loosen the cotton for blending. Also great for<br />
correcting any little mistakes without taking all the eye make up off and starting from scratch.</p>
<p>Practice practice practice!</p>
<p>Dont wait untill the last minute, because practice makes perfect.</p>
<p>Experiment with eye make up. There are so many textures and colours on the market give different things a go. Cream eyeshadow may work great for some ladies,<br />
and not so great on others so experiment.</p>
<p>Dont be scared to try new things, do try and make your eye make up harmonise with your outfit choice, but no need to match exactly.</p>

<p><b>Self tan</b> can be a tricky one to get right. With so many brands, textures and application techniques its a bit of a nightmare for the tanning novice.</p>
<p>Worry no longer as I’m here to give you a step by step guide to <i>self tan</i> application and finding the right <u>self tan</u> for you!</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h2>WHAT SELF TAN TO GO FOR?</h2>
<p>Choosing the right self tan brand for you really is quite simple. Every brand has a self tan product for everyone so no need to end up with a severe case of <a style="text-decoration: none; color: black;" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tanning_addiction" rel="nofollow">TANOREXIA</a>.</p>
<p>My personal Self tan brand is St Tropez and the 3 main self tan products in the ST Tropez range are in the form of a spray, a lotion or a mousse.</p>

<p>For someone with a fair complexion I would recommend to go for a mousse self tan.</p>
<p>The mousse distributes evenly onto the skin, normally has a colour so you can see exactly when you’ve missed a patch, and gives a natural sunkissed glow to even the fairest of women (and of course men!).</p>
<p>Self tan lotion tends to give a much deeper and more intense colour, great for a warmer or olive complexion.</p>
<p>Lotions can be messier to apply and although they too give an instant colour, they also are a little harder to get completely even.</p>
<p>So with a lotion either apply about 2 hours before bed, or be prepared to stay behind closed doors for a good 6-8 hours whilst developing.</p>
<p>Finally a spray self tan, great for instant colour and even distribution, but be warned they can be VERY messy.</p>
<p>Make sure you spray self tan in a bathroom, with a towel covering any surface that will stain.</p>
<p>For a less intense self tan effect you could go for a gradual tanning product. They are body moisturisers with a small amount of self tan to hydrate and give a very slight tan.</p>
<p>Again a great product for a fair complexion to give a slight glow.</p>

<h3>SELF TAN APPLICATION</h3>
<p>Here is the most important bit, the application! First of all make sure you have got a self tan application mitt, or alternatively latex gloves will do!</p>
<p>The telltale signs of a true tannorexic are dirty looking hands and palms, not so attractive.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Step 1- Exfoliation.</p>
<p>Exfoliate the whole body to remove all dull, dead skin sitting on the surface of the face and body. There are many exfoliators to chose from, I like st Ives apricot scrub as I can use the same product on my face and body. After exfoliating the body allow yourself an hour or so for your skin to cool and calm down before moving on to the next step.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Step 2-Moisturise.</p>
<p>You do not need to moisturise your whole body before tanning, but it is important to moisturiser areas that can be slightly drier therefore the self tan will cling a little more. These areas will be the knees, elbows, hands (fingers and knuckles) and ankles. If you are drier skinned and feel the need to moisturise before self tan make sure you go for an oil free moisturiser.</p>
<p>Fake bake do a great, lightweight, oil free moisturiser specifically designed for pre self tan.</p>
<p>The formula will absorbed fully without leaving an oily residue on the body that will stop the self tan from sitting and developing evenly.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Step 3-Self tan application</p>
<p>Don’t forget your mitt or latex gloves for this one. I like to start from the bottom up with self tan and cover my body section by section. So first pump enough</p>
<p>self tan to cover you shin and calf area on the first leg, rub into the leg evenly, don’t forget your feet but no need to put as much onto the feet area, do</p>
<p>the same on the next leg. Then section 2 the thigh area, again cover evenly and don’t be afraid to be generous with the self tan, a lot of streaky-ness is</p>
<p>due to women being scared they are applying too much tan. Move on to the back of the thigh, full length mirrors are a great help with this, you don’t want to</p>
<p>miss any areas. Then onto the tummy, back, chest then an arm at a time. With the back you may need someone to help, but it is completely possible to do on</p>
<p>your own with either a self tan back applicator or a few different arm positions. Then last but by no means least the face. I have used a body self tan for</p>
<p>my face, but id recommend to invest in a separate self tan specifically designed for the face as the skin is different to that all over the body. self tan</p>
<p>also fades quicker on the face so be warned. Use a cotton bud to remove self tan out of the eyebrows. make sure you take the tan ever so slightly into</p>
<p>the hairline so you don’t get tan lines.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>leave the self tan for 6-8 hours and bingo, your glowing as if you’ve had 2 weeks in the gorgeous sunshine. Shower off the self tan product, try to avoid a long</p>
<p>shower or a soak in the bath, you want to keep the first wash of tan short and sweet. when you have dried off apply moisturiser morning and evening to prolong</p>
<p>your tan and keep it even for longer. Once your tan is really fading you will need to exfoliate to remove the self tan, then you can start again!</p>

<p>The use of <b>skin care serum</b> is greatly overlooked in most women’s skin care regimes. It is seen to be an unnecessary expense above the usual cleanse, tone and moisturise routine. However it is a highly effective way to maintain, prolong or bring back the youthful glow we all want to have forever.</p>

<h2>LANCOME SKIN CARE SERUM REGIME</h2>
<p>For the most effective results I recommend that you use a separate daytime and night time regime, both incorporating separate Lancome skin care serums.</p>
<p>Your morning Lancome <u>skin care serum</u> must focus on brightness and radiance for the day ahead, and your night time Lancome skin care serum to repair whilst you sleep.</p>

<h3>DAYTIME SKIN CARE SERUM REGIME</h3>
<p>Your daytime skin care regime will consist of cleanse, tone, serum, eye cream and moisturiser. I tend to use a foaming wash off gel cleanser in the morning and a toner designed for a combination skin to restore the PH balance of the skin and help tighten the pores to minimise oil production throughout the day.</p>

<p>Your Lancome skin care serum for the morning is called GENIFIQUE!</p>
<p>I cannot stress enough how good this skin care serum is.</p>
<p>Genifique is a youth activating Lancome skin care serum that will boost the production of youth proteins within the genes.</p>
<p>Other brands do similar but I’ve found the Lancome skin care serum to be the most effective and the results showed within 5 days. My skin looked more luminous, brighter, smoother and glowing.</p>
<p>You would then follow your Lancome skin care serum with the appropriate eye cream and day moisturiser to treat your individual concern, whether it be hydration, lack of radiance, first signs of ageing or deep set lines and wrinkles.</p>

<p>This product has only been on the market since 1st September and I have been using it for 2 weeks having tracked down some samples of it and I already could not live without it.</p>
<p>Visionnaire is a Lancome skin care serum designed to correct various damage to the skin.</p>
<p>Night time is when the skin repairs and regenerates itself, so a great time to aid that repair with this lancome skin care serum which has  a new repair molecule in it that is supposed to be the most powerful on the market!</p>
<p>Already after 2 weeks usage i can definitely see my pores are starting to shrink down and the overall texture of my skin is improving, and this Lancome skin care serum is said to diminish pigmentation and correct dark spots, as well as reducing lines and wrinkles and I look forward to carrying on with it and seeing more positive results.</p>
<p>Follow your Lancome skin care serum with your appropriate eye cream (the same as your daytime skincare regime) and night moisturiser to treat your individual concern.</p>
<p>Your night cream does differ to your day cream in that it is more active to aid repair over night.</p>
<p>Your skin is at its most active between 12am and 4am so it needs a little extra help to repair the damage that  will happen daily due to environmental aggressors.</p>

<p>One of the easiest ways to get that well hydrated and well nourished skin is to feed it from within. Water intake is vital for promoting suppleness and skin regeneration by flushing out toxins and increasing cell renewal. The result is firmer and healthier looking skin. In the same sense, a balanced diet rich in fresh fruit and vegetables, is essential for ensuring all the right nutrients are delivered to the skin.</p>
<h2>Keeping beautiful skin against the elements.</h2>
<p>Throughout our lives, our skin is subject to harsh elements such as the sun and therefore prone to damage.
